So much to be thankful for
Today I am so thankful that the weather has been so beautiful that I am still able to ride my bike to work.

I Agree!!!
Hello All,
Reading Mr. Borkowski's blog has inspired me to get back to writing this office blog. First I agree whole heartedly with Mr. B, my children were kind of on the cusp of this new technology generation. When my children were in school children didn't need to have cell phones because all of their friends did. They didn't need to be plugged in all the time for fear of missing something. As a result my children will sit down at a family dinner and converse with grandparents and aunts and uncles and ourselves and we couldn't be happier.
I have noticed with friends of ours though whose children are just 5-10 years younger that it is hard to have more than a 2 minute conversation. They don't want to put down their phone, ipad etc. for fear of missing out on their friends conversations. The pull is so strong that people not in the room become more important than those right in front of them and it saddens me.
Mr. B is right parents can't continue to ignore this trend children need to be taught to put technology down and enjoy living, and they need you to set the example.
We are so blessed to be having such a beautiful fall, get out and walk, hike, bike or just sit down and talk to your children.

2 weeks old tomorrow
Hi All,
I hope that this new year has brought joy to you all so far. I have had a wonderful start to my year so far, my first grandchild, Ethan Gordon Jangula was born a healthy 8lbs1oz on Jan. 7th. He is so adorable. Unfortunately he lives in Grande Prairie Alberta so I have not been able to hold him yet. My son is sending me a lot of pictures though and I will go up and see him at the beginning of February.
I was just sent a picture today so I thought I would share it with you.
